Alexander Persson Diallo wants to help us understand the security risks of AI

Ever since he was little, Alexander Persson Diallo has wanted to understand both people and how things work, whether it is physics, economics or human behaviour.

“I have always been curious about the world. Understanding people is at least as interesting as understanding technology.”

Alexander, 22, grew up in Limhamn in Malmö with a Swedish mother and a father from Senegal. Growing up between two cultures has given him an ability to meet people with different backgrounds and perspectives.

“I think it has made me better at listening and trying to understand before I draw conclusions.”

Today he studies engineering physics at KTH alongside business administration at Stockholm University. Outside his studies he has worked with everything from financial analysis to startup development and leadership in student organisations.

Alexander is also one of only eight entrepreneurs selected for Talent Venture Labs.

Using AI, he is building the platform Sonndera, which helps companies measure the actual AI capability of candidates and employees through realistic, simulated work tasks. The platform identifies skill gaps, AI usage and the need for targeted training across the organisation.

“With a careful mapping, companies can make better decisions about recruitment, skills development and all their investments in AI.”

For Alexander, entrepreneurship is about finding solutions to different problems and challenges.

“I like taking responsibility, testing ideas and seeing results. You have to dare to get things wrong in order to build something that actually works. The journey is just as important as the goal.”
