William Andersson does not build the product, he starts by solving the problem

Many entrepreneurs start with an idea. William Andersson starts with a question.

“In a world of AI it is not enough to read what someone says they can do. How are we supposed to see how a person actually works and what they can actually do?”

William Andersson, 26, studies engineering physics at KTH alongside business administration at Stockholm University. The combination mirrors the way he works, in equal parts technology, business development and analysis. He has also spent a semester at the National University of Singapore and works today as an AI developer at Wisentic, where he builds solutions to automate administrative processes in the insurance industry.

William is one of eight young entrepreneurs selected for Talent Venture Labs.

Together with his team he is building an AI native career and talent platform that makes candidates' actual ability measurable through realistic work challenges, for a labour market where artificial intelligence has changed the playing field.

“AI has made it possible to send huge numbers of job applications with very little effort. That makes it harder for recruiters to separate real ability and genuine interest from the noise. The people who really want the job and have put in the work risk disappearing in the crowd.”

It is not the first time William has built something from scratch. During his gap years he created Sidoinkomsten, a media brand covering personal finance and business. The experience made two things clear: he wanted to build companies, and he needed a deeper technical foundation to build bigger.

That took him from a background in economics to a technical foundation year and then engineering physics at KTH. The same combination of technology, business understanding and measurability shapes his work with Verio today.
